Exhibition August 28th – September 21

Dactyl Foundation in collaboration with Nomenus Quarterly presents the NOMENUS GROUP SHOW featuring the work of artists, designers, photographers, who question the idea that art, beauty, and commerce cannot interact productively. In this show purely aesthetic pieces are placed along side the semiotic, and contemporary design invades poetry and paint.

Each artist offers a homage to one of Beauty's many and various plastic forms. The exhibition includes new works by Mike and Doug Starn, Rodarte, Susannah Strong, Axel Geis, Samantha Contis, Noemie LaFrance, Francesco Patriarca, Antonio Diaz, Philip Crangi, Deborah Turbeville, Gideon Rubin
Robert De Niro Sr., Jeila Farzeneh, Erik Madigan Heck, Tristan Perich, and Jamie Isaia.

Nomenus Quarterly is a publication that merges fine art and fashion through showcasing features on designers, and publishing new or unpublished works by both recognized and emerging fine artists. Existing as a quarterly online publication as well as a series of limited edition artist folios, it is curated and art directed by Erik Madigan Heck.
