Heroes & Villains

"Heroes and Villains" features 50 original board designs by skaters as well as emerging and established artists and filmmakers who have been inspired by the solidarity, the audacity, and the original style of the skateboard industry. Since 2001, Dactyl Foundation for the Arts & Humanities has recognized the rich source of linguistic and visual vitality in skate culture, offering select photographers and painters among this group a creative and intellectual environment to develop and exhibit their work. Proceeds from "Heroes and Villains" will be used to support future programs. Curated by Jon Buscemi, Alex Corporan, Jason Dill, Matt Sohl, and Michelle Harb.

Photos of the Opening: Friday, May 23
Boards will be on exhibition May 23 - June 28, Tues - Sat 1-6 pm
